After some time...........
Halos.... It's been a while since my last post. Can safely say that I am on the way to full recovery from the flu and cough bug. And I passed the bug to my wife, hehehehehe. sorry Hon, love you. Well, so much has been happening, but I was too tired and groggy to update. So here goes......
First and foremost, how the heck did England top their group! Well I can safely say that if it ain't for Rooney, Lampard and Crouch, England wouldn't be where they are today. Not forgetting that Beckham was suspended for the Poland match. Finally England's midfield was fluid again. Not a big fan of England though, but nice to see them at World Cup 2006. Will be supporting Holland again, hopefully, they will progress much further than the previous World Cups, under the guidance of Mr. Marco Van Basten. Good luck guys!
Next, I read in the papers the other day, that the telephone companies in Singapore are against the number portability issue that was raised. Why are they doing this to us consumers? It's not fair. The reason that they gave was that it was not feasible. Oh come on, just setting up the database will not put a big dent on their increasing profits year after year. I feel that we as consumers should have more say as to decide what we want
It's the month or Ramadan. Today marks the 10th day of fasting. The days seem like they flew past us. Soon, we will be celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri. I just can't help to wonder how people in the affected areas by the earthquakes are coping. It must be damn tough. Insya'Allah they will persevere during this holy month and be strong.
Last week, a fellow officer passed away in a traffic accident. One of my friends who was very close to him was quite perturbed. Yesterday we had a discussion about this. How would the person that survived the deceased will cope. It made me think for some time, I am not exactly what you would call a class A product, don't have insurance, has a sizeable debt, working my ass off, but no savings. I dunno, I think it's just me, the money that I have, I wanna spend. On hindsight, I could have probably bought more practical stuff and save a bit more. Well, I guess I just made some mid October resolutions now. Not gonna tell all of you though what the resolutions are. Hopefully, come January next year, I will be able to say that I have achieved what I set out to do. Insya'Allah.
Just finished the morning Sahur. Well, gotta go prepare for work now. Ciao cin Ciao...... hehehehe
